… it is with great honour and deep gratitude that I have been guided to walk this path, and as I held your hand you held mine. You all have become great teachers and guides, and for that I am Eternally grateful!

“Maite is a teacher and a doula, notably teacher first. The wisdom and knowledge that pours out of her so elegantly is the framework that allowed me to feel powerful in finding my own way through birth and the transition into motherhood. The education she provided both my husband and I before, during, and after birth allowed us to trust through the whole process. Even in the moments that didn’t go as planned (sweet femi arrived surprisingly breech) Maite was a channel of calm and trust. Her steady presence an anchor that had me feeling safe and cared for.
I chose to have her facilitate both a Birthing Way and Closing of the Bones Ceremony for me. Maite delivered such beautiful ceremonies, laced with the finest attention to detail and soaked in so much love and intention. Both ceremonies offered me so much intention and perspective, particularly in the energetics of opening and closing to birth.
Maite was a pillar for me in the postpartum experience as well. Birthing in another country, away from family was an overwhelming experience. She offered me unwavering support in all of my fragile moments. Offering me resources, answering my questions, and more than anything just giving space to listen to me. She guided me through coming back into my body and taught me how to properly nourish myself through the demands of breastfeeding, She reminded me to be graceful with myself and ensured that I always felt heard.
She offered me a light into the power of sisterhood and the importance of creating our village.
Her intentions are sacred as is her presence.

“I absolutely loved the ceremony before and after. Before, during and after Maite was so supportive of not just me but also my husband. She responded to every question in such depth, whether it was in person or a 12 am message about perhaps this being birth. I feel like intuitively she knows exactly what you need without words but is always so protective of your personal space making sure it’s something you wish for. During my birth when I was away from my truth, she’d always come back and remind me of our talks before the birth to give me my power and my decision in the moment.
Maite over gives and over delivers because she cares so much not just about the birth but about both parents as we prepare for the transition of baby entering the world, during the transition and even after baby is here. She is just always there with exactly what you need in each moment. She’s very very educated and sent many podcast episodes and book recommendations based upon on conversations s because she’s always thinking about you.
Without knowing her in her body of work as a doula, I knew I needed her at my birth and afterwards I knew why.
The best decision you will ever make. Literally. Cannot wait for baby number two. Even my midwife was like I should require they hire Maite too 😂😂😂”

Maite was my incredible homebirth doula and an amazing friend! She is also a certified pre and post partum yoga instructor, she offers blessing way ceremonies and a postpartum closing hip ceremony. Maite’s support was beautiful. She has very good instinct; she knows when to support and when to give you space. I would trust her with my life and am so looking forward to have another child with her as our Doula! During pregnancy, Maite gave me confidence and tranquility. She is an angel, and just her presence helped me and my partner a lot. We could speak with her without being judged, we laughed a lot and we felt trust. We received support and unconditional love. She was extremely respectful with the hospital team and they appreciated her. When the contractions were at their highest, she was so good at sensing when and how to help me and how to have Marc help me too. Maite supported me in ways no one else could. I recommend her to everyone!
